35th Annual Chestermere Country Fair - Sept 7
Volunteers Needed - We need over 150 volunteers to help make the Country Fair a success. If you are interested in donating a few hours of your time, please click here.
This year's Country Fair will have something for everyone! The Kids Zone is jam-packed with the Create Kids Fest, Fitset Ninja obstacle course, sheep herding demos, Butterfield Acres petting zoo, Junior's Fire Fighter's Challenge, the Calgary Stampede mobile stage and the Barkside.
The rodeo features mutton bustin', sheep bronc riding, and junior bull riding. Another highlight of the rodeo is the Charity Bull Riding event where extraordinary local people laid it all on the line for their favourite charity.
Tickets are required for the kids zone and rodeo. You may pre-purchase online, or purchase at the gate on September 7. Click here for tickets.
The Red Ribbon catalogue is available online. We want to showcase your creativity and talent. Enter your drawings, vegetables, paintings, crochet, embroidery, baking, preserves, flowers, quilting, woodworking, photography, weaving and so much more! The Red Ribbon competition during the Chestermere Country Fair is free to entry and there are ribbons, trophies and even some prize money to be won!
As always, there will be the ever-popular pancake breakfast, parade, harvest market and a few other surprises we're still working on.
There are a few booths left in the indoor harvest market, please click here to apply.
